  • In person: Visit the Financial Aid Office of any college or university. Make sure you bring your Social Insurance Number card and one piece of valid government-issued photo I.D. to confirm your identity at the Financial Aid Office
  • Download the “OSAP Website: Forgot Password and/or OSAP Access Number (for student)” form from the OSAP website and mail it directly to the Ministry of Colleges and Universities with supporting documents.

Social Insurance Number in MSCA

You can view and print your Social Insurance Number (SIN) in My Service Canada Account (MSCA). Once registered or signed in to MSCA, you will be able to view your:

  • SIN
  • Names as they appear on the SIN record
  • SIN expiry date (if applicable)

SIN applications are submitted using a separate method. To apply for a SIN and for more information, visit Social Insurance Number.

How to view your SIN in MSCA

To view your SIN in MSCA, select the “Register or Sign in to MSCA” button.

Once signed in or registered, go to the Social Insurance Number section on your MSCA dashboard.

To register, you must be at least 12 years old and only access MSCA as yourself. No one is authorized to use or create an account for you.
